i never watched that
dawson's creek shit so i had no prior expectations for michelle williams as the jilted wife of a gay cowboy. as alma del mar, she swallowed hard so many emotions and yet managed to draw the attraction and the sympathy of her audience so perfectly.

lost to rachel weisz in the constant gardener
greatest moment: the moment of realization, when alma inadvertently witnesses her husband ennis (heath ledger) making out with his best friend jack (jake gylenhaal).
